Jada Pinkett-Smith stars as Christina Hawthorne, a chief nurse at Mercy Trinity Hospital. When I first saw the previews for the pilot episode, I have to admit that I was a bit skeptal. But after watching the first three episodes, Howthorne is fastly becoming my new favorite show. Jada has once again suprised me with her acting skills. I hope that this show doesn't get cancelled like the other shows that have leading Black female actors in them(not to make this a race issue, i'm just stating the obvious). Hawthorne comes on TNT Tuesdays at 9 ET. Enjoy because I know I will.
